Welcome to Hartlan Yorkies. We are a small hobby breeder raising outstanding Yorkies in our home. We believe in quality and not quantity. Healthy parents and puppies is our #1 priority. We are very dedicated to the Yorkshire Terrier breed and the utmost care is put into our program. Our puppies average 4 - 7lbs at maturity, as recognized by AKC standards. We do have on occasions very small Yorkies weighing less than 4lbs full grown. We have some of the top bloodlines such as, TNT, Rothby, Burgundy, Yorkboro, Marcris and Durrer champion lines. All of our puppies come with a full one year written guarantee and a lifetime of support. All Babies are raised in our home and are well socialized from birth. We are an International club for the Biewer Breed. This little companion dog was developed in Germany in the early 1980's by Mr. and Mrs. Biewer. It is a tri colored dog with long silky hair and the weight usually is-2-0 within the 4-7 pound range. Our club, BBCI, is dedicated to the preservation of the breed. Our goals range from the serious breeder who strives for the best they can breed to the owner who is striving to win in the showring to the pet owener who just want this wonderful breed as a companion. We have members from all over the world, ranging from Germany, Canada, South America and currently in 12 states in the USA. We proudly were accepted into the UCI de. http://www.u-c-i.de/index.shtml in Germany this past year. We are very serious about the Biewer and want to promote the breed but at the same time make sure that they don't fall into the wrong hands to be overpopulated. Our breeders do all they can to insure that the puppies that leave their care are in the best possible health for their new owners. We have a very careful breed order which our breeders follow. The Dogue de Bordeaux Club of Great Britain is the only breed club in the UK that is officially recognised by The Kennel Club. The club, in its present format, was formed in 2000 when the then two breed clubs amalgamated and in 2001 the Kennel Club recognised us. Since then the club has worked endlessly to move the breed forward in the UK. The club successfully campaigned to have the Interim Breed Standard written by the KC which meant for the first time in 2001 the Dogue de Bordeaux was able to be exhibited at a Kennel Club licensed show since 1897. The first show was in fact Working and Pastoral Breeds of Wales Championship Show where an Imported male from Holland called Vinnie Du Domain De Frimarque won the first ever Best of Breed in the Import Register Working classes. In 2005 the club submitted an application to the Kennel Club to be elevated to the breed register, we are awaiting there decision and as soon as we are notified it will be posted on this site.
